As you explore this site, we hope you’ll be drawn to visit and experience our community in worship and mission. St. Aidan's began in our home the spring of 2012.
Our parish celebrates a beautiful unity and diversity of age, culture, education, vocations and Christian traditions. We are students, teachers, artists, musicians, lawyers, janitors, doctors, contractors, firemen, nurses, scientists, writers, and the like; rather than age, class or race, our common bond is Jesus Christ.
There are no resident spiritual giants, just people in process who share the joys and struggles of following Jesus within a broken world. We're participating in a gracious God who mends and sends us out to live more fully alive in Jesus, responsive to the daily needs around us.
Before coming to St. Aidan’s, most of us were not Anglicans. We all found ourselves seeking deeper historical roots in ancient Christian faith. We believe our post-modern+ world unconsciously craves such roots, embodied in the person of Jesus and his Church.
We gather Monday through Friday, 7 to 7:30 a.m., for Morning Eucharist (coffee & conversations follow), and Sunday Eucharist at 10:00 a. m. in the beautiful sanctuary of the Nazarene Theological Seminary, 1700 E Meyer Blvd. KC, MO 64131 (parking lot on Woodland Avenue).
On behalf of St. Aidan's,
